Logan Town Center's 2nd Blog

Why would we want a second blog?  Well…the main blog is intended as a visible place to ask for input into our efforts to revitalize downtown Logan, to ask for new ideas, and for comments and critisism about what we are doing, planning to do or not doing.

This second blog is intended to be a tool to help us exchange ideas and information in developing our plans, programs and individual projects.  These exchanges will not necessarily be out of sight, but here they will not clutter up our main blog. Read the rest of this entry »

Here is an interesting item from the American Society of Landscape Architects’ blog about a Main Street community 40 miles northeast of Pittsburgh, PA: To Create Sustainable Community, Town Returns to 1895 Olmsted Plan. The item refers to an Associated Press story which I believe can be seen at pittsburghlive.com.
